ACE Award

Accepting the Challenge of Excellence (ACE) Award $1000 Scholarship!

Each academic year the Exchange Club of East Minneapolis, a community service club serving youth in NE Minneapolis, is happy to be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to graduating seniors who currently attend a NE Minneapolis school or who live in NE Minneapolis. Please note that an additional scholarship may be available for up to 3 years, beyond the 1^st year, based upon qualifying criteria.

Youth must meet the following criteria:

1. Youth must be a senior graduating from a Northeast Minneapolis School or live in Northeast Minneapolis.
2. Youth must be able to attend a Wednesday lunch meeting at Elsie’s in Northeast Minneapolis to accept the award.
3. To apply, please send the following information to the contact below by April 1st of each academic year.
   • A short essay that explains how you have served your community through volunteering, and your plans after graduation for your education.
   • A letter of recommendation from a school counselor, youth worker, or teacher must accompany the essay.
